1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service are a legal agreement between you and Adeyoju Stephen ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using Bestseller Lab, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of service

Bestseller Lab provides AI-powered author tools, lead discovery, and human editorial services (including beta reading and line editing). We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

3. Account and eligibility

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including but not limited to:

• Using the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Submitting content that infringes intellectual property rights.
• Attempting to interfere with the security or integrity of the platform.
• Using bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access the service.
• Engaging in fraud, spam, or abusive behaviour.

5. Payments, subscriptions, and billing

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the next billing period. You may cancel at any time through your account or by contacting Paddle support.

6. Intellectual property

We retain all ownership rights in the service, software, documentation, and branding. You retain ownership of the content you create or upload. We do not claim ownership of your manuscripts, drafts, or creative work.

7. AI-generated content

Outputs from our AI tools may be imperfect or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any AI-generated content before use. Our tools are not a substitute for professional legal, financial, or medical advice.

You may not use our AI tools to generate illegal content, deepfakes, hate speech, malware, or to attempt to circumvent safety measures.

8. Service level

We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

9. Termination and suspension

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the total amount you paid to us in the six months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, except where required by law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Adeyoju Stephen operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
